Louise is Vice President at Lions Gate Hospital Foundation in North Vancouver, BC. where her focus is primarily on development, including marketing, events, annual giving plus major gifts and operations. She's been at LGHF for more than 10 years and prior to that was involved with marketing and communications across a number of areas including government, retail, healthcare and publishing in Ottawa, Vancouver and London, UK. 

Lynne and Louise have known each other for close to 48 years. They were first introduced to the concept of giving back as Brownies in the Girl Guides of Canada organization and continue to seek opportunities to make the world a better place. They jetted off to London together in their late 20's and ended up spending almost 10 years living and working there, gaining valuable experience they've continued to build on in their careers. 

Lynne Boardman has spent over 20 years creating successful individual giving programs for charities in both Canada and the UK. Her work has spanned health care, international development, human rights, education and environmental causes. She is currently the Managing Director / Head of Client Services at Harvey McKinnon Associates, one of Canada’s leading non-profit consultancies and on a daily basis works with a variety of high profile charities, including Oxfam, Amnesty, Covenant House and numerous children’s hospital foundations. She speaks, strategizes, and writes about legacy fundraising whenever there is someone nearby to listen.
